What began as a sleepy agricultural center in the 1800s has become a leading hub of commercial activity in Johnson and Tarrant Counties today.
Now a city of more than 30,000, Burleson boasts outstanding schools, mature infrastructure, a wealth of city services and old fashioned neighborliness that make it one of the most livable communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Businesses find a thriving economy, and one of the fastest growing communities in the entire Dallas-Fort Worth area. The acclaimed Burleson Independent School District is recognized as one of the best in Texas. For higher education, many top echelon colleges and universities, such as Texas Christian and Southern Methodist, are within easy reach.
DFW International Airport, the nation’s third largest, provides gateway service to cities throughout the United States, as well as international destinations. Alliance Airport, in Fort Worth, is a major cargo hub for the region, and Burleson’s Spinks Airport boasts a 6,000-foot concrete runway and a full range of aviation services for business and recreational flying.
